Enrollment at St. Joseph Academy
Welcome to St. Joseph Academy! We’re glad you’ve decided to learn more about our school and look forward to working with you and your child as members of our school family.
School enrollment occurs every month between the 1st and the 20th – though sometimes it may be necessary to put your child on a waiting list if our classes are full.

What You’ll Need
When you come to the school to finalize enrollment, please bring a copy of each of the following for each child that you wish to enroll with us:
• Birth certificate
• Income verification (a tax return from the previous year is best)
• The child’s immunization record
• Proof that you live in the City of Milwaukee.
(Examples of forms to prove you are a resident of Milwaukee include a current lease agreement, utility bill statement from the phone company land-line, paycheck stub or documentation from a government agency.

Upon acceptance into St. Joseph Academy, you will be asked to complete forms that allow us to understand your child’s medical history, specifically if they have medical conditions, food allergies, special dietary neeeds, and prescriptions that need to be administered.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION CENTER (ECEC)
St. Joseph Academy provides your infant, toddler or preschooler with a loving, nurturing environment that supports them physically, educationally and emotionally. We are committed to working with you and providing the best care possible for your child.
SJA’s ECEC program provides care for children 6 weeks through 4 years and also had Early Head Start and Head Start classrooms. Please contact Brenda Rodriguez at firstname.lastname@example.org to see if you meet income and other eligibility requirements for Early Head Start or Head Start.
To begin you child’s application, please fill out the ECEC Interest Form and either mail in or bring the form to the main office.
