St. Joseph Academy students don’t want to stop learning between now and the beginning of next school year! Here’s a couple ideas to prevent “brain drain”:
Milwaukee Public Library’s SuperReader Summer Program
Visit any Milwaukee Public Library to sign up. The librarian will give your child a reading folder to track the number of minutes spent reading independently or with you. The more your student reads, the more prizes he or she is eligible to receive!
MAY 18 – AUGUST 29 • FOR AGES 12 AND YOUNGER
Milwaukee Recreation’s Free Summer Playgrounds
Kids can head over to the neighborhood playground to play sports, do arts & crafts, and spend time outdoors. Milwaukee Recreation’s summer playgrounds are a drop-in program, so your children are allowed to come and go as they please.
JUNE 22 – AUGUST 14 • AGES 6-17
St. Joseph Academy’s KidQuest Summer Program
KidQuest gives kids a chance to play sports, make plenty of friends, and visit all sorts of places during weekly field trips. If you haven’t already enrolled your student in KidQuest – hurry! It’s not too late.
