After an adventure at a local Home Depot, our Cub Scouts are ready to go out into the wild!
12 Cub Scouts from St. Joseph Pack 1600 visited the home improvement store to participate in a workshop where they created boxes to collect bugs. With assistance from our den leaders, Sandra Navarrete and Kristina Himberg, the 3rd and 4th grade boys used a hammer, nails, and plenty of glue to assemble the wood-and-mesh creations.
Cubmaster Dave Roettgen is happy to have Cub Scouts (and Girl Scouts) at St. Joseph Academy to send our students into the community–and provide an important social outlet!
