Greetings Parents and Families,
My name is Dr. Tabia N. Jones and I’m extremely happy to join the St. Joseph Academy (SJA) family as the new President & CEO. I’m extremely passionate about teaching and learning and I look forward to partnering with you to provide our students with a rigorous, engaging and high-quality education, based on the Felician values for Ministry. Parents are every child’s first teacher and I believe that by working together, we can continue to make sure that your child’s social, emotional and academic needs are met.
Before joining SJA, I served in a variety of educational leadership roles for the past 22 years, most recently as Chief of Schools for Universal Companies of Milwaukee, WI. I have also served as the Executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Pupil Services for Shorewood School District, Director of Instruction for Secondary Schools for the Waukesha School District and Principal in the Menomonee Falls School District. My academic background includes a doctorate in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL, a Master of Arts in Education from Alverno College and a Bachelor of Arts from Lincoln University in Pennsylvania.
Educating children is important to me so I always operate in their best interest. I also feel the goal of excellence should always be the exemplar in terms of how to approach meeting the diverse needs of our children, as I am extremely dedicated to this purposeful work. I believe that great schools are the results of great teachers, so my primary objective will be to ensure that every student is receiving high-quality instruction from every teacher at SJA.
I will be working closely with the staff and teachers at SJA to guarantee that all of our students are intellectually challenged and have access to the social and emotional support critical to students throughout their time at St. Joseph Academy.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve your families in this role! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.
Tabia N. Jones, Ed.D.
